We here at Extended Hands in Lachine, a Non-Profit organization serving the Lachine community are reaching out to you for assistance.

Extended Hands is a charitable organization based in Lachine which has been operating since September 2005. The main focus is on the relief of poverty through specific programs such as: Grocery supplementation, Career Counseling and Scholarship Programs.

On a weekly basis:

• We assist over 700 families with supplementary groceries and hot meals.
• We clothe and provide for refugee families.
• We operate a community back to work program: Dress for Success.
• We clothe and distribute household articles to those in need.
• We run a scholarship program for students demonstrating excellent academic results.
• We work in partnership with the YMCA to give an opportunity for youth to perform their community service hours in a safe and positive environment.
