We at Extended Hands in Lachine Quebec, a Non-Profit organization serving the Lachine community are reaching out to you for assistance.
Extended Hands is a charitable organization based in Lachine which has been operating since September 2005. The main focus is on the relief of poverty through specific programs such as: Grocery supplementation, hot meal program, hot lunch program and Scholarship Programs.
On a weekly basis:
- We assist over 500 families with supplementary groceries and hot meals.
- We clothe and provide for refugee families.
- We clothe and distribute household articles to those in need.
- We run a scholarship program for low income students demonstrating excellent academic results.
- We work in partnerships with various education facilities and organizations providing a safe environment for youth and adults to complete stage placements and community service hours.
